Where Are Parents On Friday When Kids Are At The Mall

I know I'm late in this but I absolutely agree.

I go to the mall once in a blue moon and anytime I go it's packed. People there are arrogant and the cell phones! These NEXTEL phones chirping all the time and you never know if it's yours.

I generally only go to the mall to go to the racing shop and to go to Radio Shack and I've seen some ... well ... interesting behavior there. Let's put it this way, I didn't realize there was a porno shop there.

You are a stodgy old man at ripe age of 18.

Outlet or not, they shouldn't be "acting a fool" anywhere. Why don't they go to each others houses and "hang out" where there are parents to see how they are acting and what they are getting into. At 16 you shouldn't have to be entertained to keep from getting in trouble.

I liked that ice skating place. It was nice because me and my friend tried to go to the movies and they said we were too young after checking our ID's. I was 18 and he was 17. Apparently you have to be 18 to get into an R rated film (the ones that say 17 or older).

The high schools are generally open for recreation during summer. Charles County Public Schools has alot of summer activities for younger children and high school kids. It's generally not that boring either. I also think the Sheriff's Department has a little anti-drug summer thing where they have activities at whatever school is hosting it (Westlake I think) and they'll go to Six Flags and stuff like that. I really enjoyed it:yay: (I was in that during my first summer up here because I didn't know anybody or anything).

Some of them cost money but most do not.

I am not angry at all just tired of seeing Charles County going down hill- it used to be such a nice place now it sucks because of the way the children act and because of the way the parents allow the children to act. Seeing the way they act at the mall and other places shows NO HOME DISCIPLINE!!!

Right, well when you find the cure to change everything in the world. Complain then.

Kids are just that Kids. And no matter what you say they will do what they want, I bet at one time you were the same way.

it is people like you that make problems!!! this was not open for discussion to argue or to make people angry- I only started the conversation to see if other people agreed and thought maybe it would make parents that read it think about it!

People like me? Because I look at the other side, and think "hey they aren't pushing me or causing me harm"

and if you hate it so much, try a different mall. Simple

No Actually I Was Not- There Is Always Plenty To Do You Just Have To Look And Find. It Is Just That The Kids These Days Are So Lazy They Have No Ambition To Look For Things To Do

Well how about you give them something to do. No you dropped your kids off at grandma's house, so you could run away from them. What did they do there? My guess would be watch tv play on a computer. I would rather see some kids walk around the mall, getting some sort of activity, then sitting in front of a computer/tv

The Sad Thing Is The Other Side Is Fine- But It Is Not Just The Mall! Waldorf Has Alot Of Crime Everywhere.. I Just Spoke Of The Mall Because That Is Just Somewhere That Typically You Should Be Able To Go There And Feel Safe But Not St. Charles Town Center.

Then go to a different mall!

If you didn't notice signs in the mall, they now say "No more than 5 to a group" If you are yelling cussing etc. You will be tossed out of the mall. Which happened while I was there.
