Did you have the new posts page open for more than two hours?

Were you viewing new posts from a different tab or window or were you hitting the back button to view the new posts after your recent page views/replies?

Where's the hit "Enter" button you used?

Not sure about time frame..
But after I replied to the GPS comment, I clicked on "Submit reply", page refreshed and saw my post, moved pointer to top of page and clicked on the New Posts option.
When that refreshed, all my page showed was 12-13 enteries, not the 12 pages that showed prior to GPS reply.
Maybe it is a Mac/ Safari thing.. Thanks anyway.

Therein lies your answer. They were new posts the first time you clicked new posts. After posting and refreshing you get a different new set of new posts. The "old" new posts are gone because you "refreshed" the posts since your last click on "new posts".

If I boot the forum whole pages of users will disappear.

Hmmm... maybe that's not such a bad idea.

OK..still a bit new here..but where did all the New Posts go to?
I replied to the GPS thread, hit Enter and got a list of just 13 posts compared to the 12+ pages a few minutes ago?
Glitch? System recycles?
??
Thanks..

I think that something may have happened... in ChitChat, the tread titled Soft, Tender Delicious... If you read through it, there is a reference to Post#50, but when you look for the quote, the post appears as Post#2.
