Where do you park when flying out of Reagan?

I usually park at the economy lot at the airport. I used to park at some of the more expensive lots, but it actually took me just as long to get to the terminal and a lot more walking. The shuttles run pretty frequently and they drop of at a number of locations in the lot.

With travel costs the way they are these days, I park myself in Coach when flying - out of Reagan or anywhere else.

We normal;y park in the economy lot. The shuttles talke you right to entrance were your airline is. If you're going to be going just a day or two, they have daily rates in the B and C garages. The are elevated walkways that lead to the checkin counters.

:yeahthat:...but with the construction going on adding the new stories to the parking garages and the attendent loss of available spaces, if you fly out on Tuesday through Thursday, B and C will probably be full and you will have to park in economy anyway. For the last three months, on my Monday morning flights I have been getting a spot on the top deck of the B Garage.

Didn't know about the construction. Last time we flew out was in March. So they're adding more levels to the garages? I try to use Reagan whenever possible. Just an hour and 15 from home. Of course if the cheaper flights leave from IAD or BWI I'll go that route.

I work at DCA. We are adding one additional deck to the B/C garage. Like someone wrote earlier. If it's only for a day or 2 go with the garage. Any longer the ecomony lot is the best bet.

Economy lot or I get someone to drop me off and then catch a cab ride home.
