What's LaPlata? You mean Waldorf2? :killingme

Andy stop knocking LaPlata, it will be long time before LaPlata will be the dumps like Waldorf. Laplata doesnt have the zillions of apartments or townhouses like Waldorf that brings in the trouble.
Getting several commercial shopping centers, thats a good thing cause they now have just about everything you need and now I dont have to go to Waldorf as much.
All suggestions about where to go, are all great places.

Not to be rude, but LaPlata has a gazillion townhouses! Also, the majority of the apartments in Waldorf run AT LEAST a grand a month, and we don't have a bunch of run-down "motels" that have efficiencies like LaPlata does, and LaPlata will soon be as run-down as Waldorf b/c of those exact commercial shopping areas you are excited about. It's just the nature of the "suburban sprawl." I love living in Waldorf for now and have for 15 years, and I live in a tough neighborhood, but then again, for a time I lived in a REALLY tough neighborhood in Indian Head. I'm sure eventually we will make our way to LaPlata and farther south as things worsen, like rats leaving a sinking ship! Andy wasn't knocking LaPlata, he was being facetious! In reference to people calling Waldorf, southern PG county and all...

:edit: all suggestions seconded!

Come on theres more townhomes of Acton Lane then there are houses and townhouses in all of LaPlata.
Only one kind of rundown motel now in Laplata, the others have been replaced by the new shopping centers.:lmao:

Yeah, that's true I tend to forget about that area since I've been avoiding it like the plague for 10 years! But, I still think we have "more area mass" that's considered Waldorf than LaPlata does, so it's kind of subjective. People are quick to differentiate between LaPlata and it's surrounding areas, whereas "Waldorf" is everything lumped together, sometimes people even try to include Accokeek, northern Brandywine, etc too! I was kind of referring to the motels down in Newburg and Bel Alton, b/c I consider that LaPlata, that's the community where those people do their business, you know...I know there are plenty of "homeless" people who call those "home." The one right in town is an eyesore, but I think mostly the construction people use it when they're here for long assignments.
Oh well...You're probably right, I'm probably in denial, but I still think Andy wasn't knocking LaPlata, just being sarcastic...
