Where is the loot - Mattingly ?

You ask the people to elect you to a position of trust - but you and your trolls keep side stepping the question - Where Is Clarke's $20,000. Is it in your trust account ? Was it ever placed in your trust account ? Did you give it back to Clarke ? Did you give it to Brown ?? Did he give it back to you ? Did Clarke make it a gift to you ? Did you take it from Clarke to keep the Feds from seizing it - why would they ? Tell us where is the loot.? If you don't tell us you will tell the Attorney Grievance Committee. How long do you expect to keep your license to practice law - you lose that and guess what ? You can't be State's Attorney.

You mean the money Slades secretary said was in his office?
The money Slades secretary saw Slade, and the boys tossing around his office.
The money Slades secretary took pictures of at the happy event.
The money that Weiskopf said he thought the Secretary took.
The money the secretary was fired over.
That money?

Yeah the money that was later used in an attempted bribe by your son to get the kids Clarke shot at/over/under/whatever off his case.

That money.

Don't you have tenants to harass for your son??? It's after 2am that's about the best time to harass them isn't it?

Money in office: Yes
Tossing? cmon now
Secretary took pics??? NOT Weiskopf YES
Weiskopf is the one who stated that he later saw the money used by your son in the aforementioned incident that your son is now serving time for.
Fired.... yes because she lied.

Your original story had Clarke there too and that is not true.

If you can't keep your story consistent then how are folks going to believe your lies?

Didn't Rick Fritz do a full investigation into every transaction mattingly was involved with back to 2007? Don't you think if mattingly did a 20,000 cash deposit into one of his accounts it would have stuck out like a sore thumb in the trial against mattingly?

I think we should stick to proven facts. John Mattingly was found NOT GUILTY of all charges against him. That is a fact.

This should clear it up for everybody:

John Mattingly was NOT found guilty by Judge Sean Wallace nor by a JURY.

THAT IS A FACT! Focusfacts has the FACTS!

Did I say Mattingly had possession of said funds??? NO, I also didn't state that he deposited it anywhere... For all I know it's stuffed in a mattress at a tenants house.

What I do know is that Clarke provided a cashiers check in lieu of the liquid funds to Slade who then deposited that into an escrow account until he returned it because he wasn't comfortable with Mr Clarke and his associates.... one of them being Mr. Mattingly.

I've heard several rumors of where it is but I'm certain where it's NOT.

I guess if what you say here is true than John would have been found guilty. Don't you think?

Judge Sean Wallace says "Mr. Mattingly acted unethically and cheated people out of their land and money along with his partner. Mr. John Mattingly is the Mastermind of all the numerous business's and land deals!

BadCat, what do you think that means?

You're perspective is as twisted as John Mattingly's himself!

Following your logic, OJ IS INNOCENT of murder. He was found not guilty by a jury, so it must be true. It could also be said OJ's legal team was superior than the prosecutor, Marsha Clark, kinda like Isabelle Cummings got crushed by Mattingly's lawyer, Ahlers.

Judge Wallace was not the jury, he was an observer. He stated his observations that JOHN MATTINGLY WAS CORRUPT AND ACTED CORRUPTLY TO STEAL LAND FROM PEOPLE. Read the Enterprise and County Times.

I'm no lawyer but last l checked the prosecutor would actually have to follow through with the charges to be found guilty or innocent.

Did I once say that Mattingly is in possession of the 20K??? NO but you keep defending an accusation I have not made... why is that???

Mattingly's cohort Brown...now incarcerated was the last one seen with the 20K. From there???? who knows... I'm sure someone does.... didn't someone on here say that Shane Mattingly stated that he knew where it is????

Themis made a lame attempt to insinuate that Slade kept the funds......

Don't you think Terry Clarke would be knocking on Slades door until he got it back????

As far as I'm concerned Clarke doesn't seem to care where it is.... it must be somewhere he trusts.

Think about who HE is associated with and trusts and you will more than likely find that 20K.

Go ahead defend J. Mattingly again.....

That really sounds like a threat. And you guys wonder why people in this county are literally AFRAID of our current states attorney.

I don't know you or your situation and you are free to believe what you want to believe. It is my perception that if what you say is true than mattingly would have been found guilty of 'something'. Out of 140 charges, all that time, all that man power, all that money, the entire power of the state against him, at least 1 of those charges should have stuck if he was actually guilty?

Its hard to decipher the truth from campaign propaganda in these forums. That's why I go right to the source -- the candidates web pages. I've personally asked the candidates the questions I'm concerned about and I was satisfied by Mattingly's answers. My mind is made up.

Thanks and God Bless.

Once again this thread isn't about who you are voting for... it is about where the 20K is.

But you obviously can't read.

I'm not a fan of Fritz... However, I am opposed to Mattingly and those he associates with. BAD CAT... I'm not trying to convince you of anything... look through my posts and you'll see that I primarily call BS...most of which comes from Mr. Rossignol, Brown when he was here and Mattingly who hides behind at least 2 login names... Themis is the father of Dan Brown who HAS been found guilty and HAS been told that he was not the instigator of his crimes, that the ringleader of his crimes is Mr. Mattingly....

I don't know what went through the mind of the prosecutor when she gave up.... I don't know what went through her mind when she only tried to get Brown 6 months.....

Vote however you want... but if you post something here that is total BS... be sure that I'm going to challenge it.

God Bless to you as well BadCat and hopefully you too don't become a victim of Mattingly's. I thought the same way you did and that's exactly how I became his victim. I took him for his word, integrity and morals I believed he had.

Brown sentenced to term in prison

Judge says state's attorney candidate John Mattingly
also tried to cheat people in real-estate dealings

A two-year investigation of real-estate fraud and witness tampering
resulted this week in a prison sentence for Daniel Jason Brown,
and a judge's rebuke of state's attorney candidate John Mattingly

"I frankly don't think you were the instigator in any of these things,
but you played a major role," Judge Wallace said, and he barred Brown
from having any contact with John Mattingly after Brown is
released from custody and begins five years of supervised probation.

"The two of you together (Mattingly & Brown)
did operate your business corruptly,"
Judge Wallace said, "in an effort to cheat other people."

Renee Joy, assistant Prince George's prosecutor, spoke of Brown's conduct.
"His work ethic was proven to be shortcuts and scamming innocent people
to line his own pockets," Joy said. "He thinks that he's above the law."

In the home-improvement case, Joy said, "Mr. Brown was showing the
epitome of greed. He was taking advantage of an elderly woman who was
an amputee and had recently lost her husband."

I bet if Fritz tried the case it would have gone to the jury. Before it is all over, we will know where the money is. Red Herring can't fly - WHERE IS THE LOOT MATTINGLY ? Let's hear from Clarke. Hey Clarke + did Mattingly give your money back ? Do you know where it is ? He was your attorney, don't you care what he did with it. Have you asked for your money back. Why have you not charged him with theft ? Is it stolen or are you a part of something with Mattingly that the voters need to know about ?

Richard Fritz's Smear Campaign
Since I made my announcement to run for State's Attorney, my opponent has used (or rather abused) the power of his office in an attempt to smear and discredit me. I want to take this opportunity to address the unfounded and baseless attacks leveled against me and my family by the current State's Attorney.

My opponent's accusations were totally without merit. An independent prosecutor was appointed and all charges were either dismissed or acquitted. The independent prosecutor Ms. Cumming, when asked why she dismissed the charges responded "because justice demanded it."

Fritz, the current State's attorney, manipulated the grand jury, presenting perjured testimony and manufactured evidence.

In addition, the Attorney Grievance Commission, the body responsible for policing attorneys' ethical conduct, also investigated all of the charges Fritz leveled against me. The Attorney Grievance Commission found no unethical conduct on my part in any of Fritz's accusations. I was wrongly accused, and justly exonerated both in the courts of law and before the Attorney Grievance Commission. Now, I will exonerate myself in the court of public opinion.

It is time to return justice to the courtroom, not the back-room. St. Mary's County deserves better and come Nov. 2nd we will take back our office of State's Attorney. I humbly ask for your support—vote John Mattingly for State's Attorney.
