I need to get my fingerprints done for a new job. Anybody know of places in Maryland to do this? I have found a few police stations that do it on certain times/days and fees. I have 3 cards to get done and really dont wanna pay an arm and leg. I would like to get this done on Monday at the latest, thanks for your help.

Can't you do it yourself? Just get an inkpad and do it like the cops did last time you were arrested.

The police station is the only place I can think of. I still have the ones from when I was 5 years old and my Mom had them done just in case I was ever kidnapped. :roflmao:

Good luck with the State Police in St. Mary's County. They always said "Sorry, No one here to do them now" And this was when I went on the time and date that they say they do fingerprinting.

Oh - and I'm surprised that your place of employment doesn't have someone there to do it. After all, they need to be able to verify that they are really your fingerprints. Most Gov't contractors have a security officer trained in fingerprinting, and they do it right there in the office.

For an official fingerprinting, you'll have to go to the barrack to get it done, the trooper has to sign the 10 card. I went to the Leonardtown barrack and had my special Rott-n-cop do it. I'm sure he'd consider it for a nominal fee  Special dark chocolate works nicely. I won't tell you what I had to pay for the special attention.

Go to the local recruiting station, they have all the fingerprint cards, all you need is stamp pad and do it yourself.

have you ever fingerprinted yourself? Press flat, roll, lift...it takes some serious coordination...He!! i couldn't even get it right the first time WITH a professional doing it for me. :lmao:
It's actually kind of....s*e*x*y*... at least it was when i had it done, and he was being SOOO serious....i couldn't stop giggling.
allan1058, i'd suggest going to the barrack and hoping for a cute female trooper

It wasnt hard finding places that did it but it was hard finding places that are doing them now around the holidays. I finally found Charles County Sherriffs office in LaPlata that do them on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 4-6. And they are doing them tonight so it works out perfectly, a little bit of a drive but all is good.

There is also a fee for that BTW. Just so you know, they only take a check or money order, no cash, unless the policy has changed within the last 4-months. The state police charges $5.00 per card.

http://ccso.us/fingerprinting.htm

The Charles County Sheriff's Office website says they charge $2.50 per card for Charles County residents and $3.50 per card for non-residents. Cards are NOT provided and they only accept money orders or exact change - NO checks.

allan1058 - It sounds like you might want to verify this information before you head up there.

Cost

On the topic of cost with the State Police doing it... Be sure to bring a check or MO for the $5/per card fee they charge.

I am going in this coming Tuesday to give it a try, I'll let you all know how it turns out...
