Where to go?

Looking to go someplace close (2-3 hours) for the LW's bday, B&B or boutique inn type of place. We both like the Bavarian Inn (Shepherdstown, WV) and The Tidewater Inn (Easton, MD).
Homestead is too far for a weekend, and Nemacolin is too $$$. Decent restaurants and antiques shopping nearby are musts.

I have been to the Bavarian Inn and really enjoyed that. I have never been to this place but have been wanting to go try it out for some time. It's in Harrisonburg, Va, so that's about 3 hours away depending on your location. It's called, By the Side of the Road Bed and Breakfast. Here is a link in case you want to check it out.

We spent a New Year's weekend there a few years ago and had a great time. The hotel and restaurants were great. Spent a day walking around Cumberland. Fun relaxing trip.
