A car chasing a 4-wheeler...that makes alot of sense!
Must've done one heck of a crime...

At least I hope, for the cop's sake, that it was.

Otherwise I'd be feelin' pretty stupid right about now.

Would THIS face lie?
This pond isn't right on the road either...He had to drive a ways to get to it.... :lmao: I think the 4 wheeler knew where he was going....Cop didn't...

The cop probably just saw the 4 wheeler driving on the road and decided to try and give him a ticket for it.

I agrea with you. Taking his police car off roading to try and catch the 4 wheeler is probably the absolute dumbest thing he could have done in this situation.

I guess if maybe the 4 wheeler driver was carrying a severed head or a body bag or something off roading after it would have been justifiable...

Now he's just totaled a car which is paid for by tax payer dollars, all because he had to play the hero.

While I agree that the cop should have used better judgement, 4 wheeler traveling and crossing roads in our area is a problem. I have been witness to a 4 wheeler blindly crossing a side road and running into the side of a passing vehicle. I'd say he got what he deserved for being careless but be the driver of that car.......if he'd been seriously injured how would you feel knowing your vehicle was part of the cause.

The son of a guy I work with had a P.O. ram his 4 wheeler with his crusier down south near ridge a while ago. Dicked the kid up pretty bad but never made the papers.

As long as there are 4 wheelers, 4 wheelers crossing roads will always be a problem.

In Minnesota, believe it or not, we have that problem. We also have another problem... snowmobiles crossing the road.

While I agree it's dangerous for them to cut across roads and can cause major accidents, I don't agree that they should chased down as if they had commited a major crime and I CERTAINLY don't agree that they should start off-roading after the 4 wheelers. I think this particular dumbass cop has proven the very reason one should not go off-roading after a 4 wheeler.

Who cares, at least he made an attempt to catch someone breaking the law, and fleeing from the police. Sometimes you gotta use good judgment in chasing those things but he didn't get hurt and no one else didn't hurt. He was trying do his job.
If your ever in an accident, don't feel stupid for yourself, be thankful your still alive whether its your fault or not. Things happen.

How many dumbass things have you done? You are far from perfect ....
You speak as if you know me, when in fact you do not.

I've got no problem with police enforcing the laws, however I think there's a big difference between chasing a 4 wheeler because god forbid it's on a road and catching a serial rapist that's escalating on his way to murdering his victims.

Sure, there's far less actual violent crime out there than there is traffic violations... but I'm sure the cop could've been doing something more useful than checking out what was in the bottom of the pond.
