Proof that "researchers" in Canada are idiots.

Ugly kids come from ugly parents. And it's rare to see an ugly person who is smart, on the ball, good parent, good heart. Because if they WERE good, kind, smart people, they would cease to be considered "ugly". Typically, ugly is as ugly does.

So they're comparing apples and oranges - attractive people with attractive kids vs. ugly parents with ugly kids. It would have been more credible to compare the behavior of parents who have one good-looking kid and one awkward-looking one to see if the two are treated differently.

That is so not true - the way I see it - if you are ugly when you are young - you will not grow up to be ugly - because God just wouldn't let people be ugly all their lives. :shrug: I was a really cute kid - now I have to pay my ugly debt.

Anyway – beauty is in the eye of the beholder – sometimes the inter qualities make a person attractive and sometimes they are just as ugly on the outside as they are on the inside or visa versa.

Do you really think any parent sees their child as anything but good looking? I know all of mine were exceptionally good looking, but I had a friend with an undeniably ugly daughter. I assumed she knew it, but had to listen to her complain when someone referred to her daughter as the 'ugly duckling.' She asked me for reassurance that her daughter was not ugly.

By the way, the daughter is 22 now and is no longer ugly.
