Which gaming system...

One will be 8 in Jan and the other is 4 (bday is in April). They are more into race car type games and monster trucks.

they almost seem like they're too young for anything but the Wii (well, maybe not the 8 yr old). Check to see what games are available. I think there are racing games on the Wii and a bunch of other fun ones. It's alot easier than the controllers for another console. But if they've played it before I guess they'll be ok :shrug:

360 is a good system though so I'm not trying to downplay it at all. It's actually my fav

OR you can get the 60Gb system with the LEGO Indiana Jones and Kung-Fu Panda for $299.99

Now keep your eyes open for a good deal on a charging base, so you arent always hunting batteries for the controllers.

We have them all but the Wii

My neighbor has the Wii and I just did not like it when compared to the Xbox 360 and PS3. We also have all the older game systems as well. My preference is the PS3 and with the Little Big Planet you can get the whole family in on a game. Blueray playback is great.

Next week I think Netflix will allow online movie playback on the Xbox 360. I also hear rumor that it will be available on PS3 sometime soon as well.

My sister just informed me that her husband bought my kids two Xbox games but they are for the regular Xbox, not Xbox360. Will they still work in the Xbox 360? More than likely, they were bought off Ebay (he buys everything off ebay).

PS3 - $399 (WalMart is offering a $100 gift card if you buy it on Saturday)
360 - Ummm, I think they still have 3 models $199 - $349 (I think)

I got mine at Game Stop for $249.00. You are getting into the holidays so im sure they are going up in price. Its only worth what you are willing to pay for it.
