Also coming is Odie - a little over a year old - full of fun and that indomitable pit bull zest for life - having a bad day??? Odie can make you laugh, wanta cry? Odie has the shoulders for it. Odie will do best in a home where someone is home most of the time or someone that will make what time they share together so much fun and energetic that he won't mind napping when you aren't with him!

Princess a happy go lucky senior black lab looking for her forever home. Princess has proven that she can get along with both male and female dogs, especially if they are smaller (Odin and Parker are her running buddies as was Coco who was just recently adopted). Princess is house and crate trained and really just loves to be alive!

Adak a adult Siberian Husky mix, Adak is a happy and healthy guy, looking for love. Adak is also a talker so we sure hope you speak Barkum and you all should get along just fine!

Jessie who is about a year and a half and has spent almost all that in foster care... Why? who knows, she's sweet and loves life and will make someone a great companion. Jessie gets along with almost all other dogs and could even live with cats with the right introductions!

Jeff was at Pepper's a couple of weeks ago and showed what a great guy he is, he'll be back wearing his tuxedo tie and hoping to make an impression - Jeff will make someone a wonderful family pet, he has lots of love to give!

Vader is awesome, it's a surprise that he has not been adopted. Not often you can find such a young guy that is so well trained. Like to hike? Not a problem he will carry his share of the goodies in his back pack. Don't like dogs that pull - well, you should love Vader, he walks like a champ with his head halti - holds his head high and will make sure you and he get noticed everywhere you go!

Here's the link to Flower !

DeeDee, she's young, spayed, house trained, gets along great with other dogs and kids, could live with cats - What more can a family ask for? DeeDee is 9 months old and probably won't get much bigger - she's a gem just looking for a family to bring out all the sparkle!

Here's the link to Wyatt!

Could be more coming - Hopefully Guy and maybe Odin..

Even if you aren't looking for a dog or cat right now, come and meet these wonderful dogs and cats from Second Hope Rescue and the Humane Society of Calvert County - everytime we have them in public and they get to meet more people it helps with their socializing skills!

and I HOPE HOPE HOPE that our wonderful volunteer photographer and standby squeeky guy can make it, almost all these dogs need some Loper magic on their profile pictures!

:yahoo: Now what's not to love about Remy??? Maybe I 'do' spoil him a tad bit....

But, I'm sure he's going to make me pay for this when he see's everyone else getting in the car but not him... Oh well, he can stay home and play with Patches that day...

The weather is supposed to be in the 60's on Saturday and the 70's on Sunday. It may be a tad muddy but we couldn't have asked for a better day esp considering we had a foot of snow last Sun/Mon!! There will be a lot of people out and about that day. I hope *some* of you forumites will come by and say hi! Maybe fall in love with a SHR or HSCC dog or cat...

(there are a few of you rescue bashing meanies that can stay at home :neener:- and you know who you are!)
