I had a shirt, laid it on the back of my chair and it disappeared.

It was a fun day, especially the jumps.

It was good to see you, too. I was dragging butt by the time I got there and my BFF knew it was on my list of things I wanted to do today, so she brought me through. Not that I didn't want to see everyone, but I get dog tired and I was ready for my nap. There was the cutest little yorkie there, but he'd be squished in a heartbeat at our house.

Sorry I missed you yesterday! Flower is a sweet dog, she will make a great family pet. She got 2 apps I think, one I just emailed today. Yorkie is Peanut, he is such a tiny little guy.

Second Hope and the Humane Society Rock the House

A party Sunday in Solomons will promote the adoption of black cats and dogs, which are frequently overlooked at shelters!

The Humane Society of Calvert County and Second Hope Rescue are holding a party, "White Tie for Black Dogs," to promote the adoption of black dogs and cats, which are the least adopted animals at shelters. Attendees can meet dogs and cats available from both groups. Noon-3:30 p.m. Sunday. Pepper's Pet Pantry, 13858 Solomons Island Rd., Solomons. Free. 240-925-0628.
