IN THE DARK NO LESS!!!.....

I pulled into my poorly lit neighborhood streets (no I hadn't slowed down to the posted speed limit yet) and through a closed window and a low volume radio, I hear "HEY!!! GODDA**IT!!" So, I stop. Out of the shadows a guy walks up to my window and yells at me, "I'm walking dogs here a**hole!!".......dogs I never saw! (See the part about the lighting). He had two or three lap dogs on a 15' leash.....didn't see THEM didn't see HIM. He didn't have a flashlight nor reflective ANYTHING......IN THE DARK......and this moron yells AT ME. WHO is the smart one?

You answered your question in the first sentence. SLOW DOWN. You know your streets are poorly lit and yet you speed?? What if it had been a child? What's the hurry anyway...You're home! :cds:

I wouldn't walk at night without a light. Not because I need one as we have street lamps but the people driving just will not slow down. So instead of cussing at the cars, I carry a light.

and if I had a tazer I would have zapped ya. No reason to go that fast in the neighborhood. I've been walking my dogs for a long time and haven't had any issues until you!

Uh, it's called having common sense and walking with a flashlight so people see him or how about this..............not walk in the dark at all.

I walk my dog all of the time in the dark, but it is with a light. The gives the morons in my neighborhood something to aim at as the drive even closer to me than before at speeds way over the limit.

The nerve of him. He should tell his animals that they have to wait and potty when it's dry out, and only during the day. :burning:

I have no sympathy whatsoever for persons who speed in residential neighborhoods. It serves no purpose and endangers innocent lives. It's one thing to speed on a major highway for 50-100 miles, but on a residential street, going 200 mph will only "save" you a few seconds.

I'd only put part of the onus on the dog walker who wasn't prepared for morons who speed at night in non-lit residential areas.
