I'm sure he meant Hollywood, MD not Hollywood, CA.
I've only had them at the one on 235 & Chancellor's Run, but they probably all make them the same.

I don't think it matters. I haven't personally had one but hubby has and he says they're great! Outside of this area, Tony Luke's, Pat's or Geno's in Philly get my vote. Wit-out Wiz!

I know they have a steak and cheese sub. Can't necessarily call is a Philly Cheesesteak I guess. But it's really good.
