You were making fun of me at the expense of a retarded person. People photo shopping that retarded kid into lots of different pictures is meaner that Photo Shopping Chris Reeve into different things.

That retarded kid was just running in the special Olympics or some other race. He is a young kid and never made a decision to be put into the spotlight.

While Reeve was a famous actor and put himself into the spotlight. Being in the spotlight is part of being an actor. Reeve was also an advocate for spinal research frequently on TV.

Being on TV all of the time puts you in a position to be made fun off. It goes with the territory.

I can take being made fun off. I laugh at the expense of everyone and am not offended by anything. I just think it is funny how people pick and choose what is in bad taste.

All of my humor is in bad taste and I don't care. Nor do I pretend it is anything but cringe humor.

What you did was on the same level; the only difference is that it hit a nerve. It does not matter if they are in the spotlight or not, they still have feelings and family that has feelings and jokes like these are done in poor taste, period.
