Comming home (Hollywood) from Leonardtown last night about 8:15, saw someone lay their bike down along side the road...............

Looked like they stopped, forgot to put the kickstand down, and climbed off the bike. 2 Matching blue and white rice rockets:faint:

:lmao: I've never laid mine down, but I have stalled the engine by forgetting to put the kickstand up. It's interlocked to the kill switch. If it's down and you put it in gear, it just goes dead. Not quite as embarrassing as lying it down.

Couple of years ago I was meeting up with a bud at Sheetz to ride down to TN. He pulled in the lot, I clicked down into first and the next vehicle was Penn.
He waved, I waved back

Twasn't me.. ALmost did today though.

Trapp Rd, guy/gal lives on the corner just past Caroll's decided it was a good idea to mow his yard today and blow ALL the grass into the road.. You can't see the exit of the corner until you are in it.

Nice surprise on the way home for lunch. Luckily I was on a leisurly cruise, pulled the bike up out of the turn and found a clean track to get through.

Hubby was heading to work a couple weeks ago and came up on a 4 way stop. From the left came a dude on a decked out super-sized Harley. The dude stopped at the stop sign and promptly fell over. Hubby jumped out of the truck and ran to see if he was okay... he sheepishly admitted to having forgotten to put his feet down upon stopping...

I hate when people do that. the guy who lives on the corner around the curve from me decided to mow the shoulder of the road and blew it all over the road. I came home and came around the corner, down the hill to the curve only to see it covered in 2 inches of chopped grass and leaves.

PT admitted to doing it because he was gawking at a chick.

I had a close call the other day when I was gawking at a hottie. I had to stop abruptly.

I knew two guys who did that. One I saw. He pulled up into a guys driveway and a few of us were standing around, had his feet up on the highway pegs, came to a nice stop grinning and being very cool. Then fell right over. :roflmao: He also once rode over a VW bug that had stopped in front of him.
I wonder if he's still alive. :lmao:

I know someone that is notourious for it....he got his bike back in '04 and since then he has done it at least one or two times a week during "riding season"

He doesn't admit to it very often, but I hear about it all the time from people that see him do it(smallcounty) :killingme

One of the funniest things I have seen was when this short guy on a harley with his wife was backing out of a parking spot. The spot had a little dip in it to allow for rain run off , when he got to the dip he ran out of legs . He was in the dip with no feet on the ground and down he and his wife went. They crawled out from under the bike we went and picked him up, had a good laugh and went on. Those crash rails are good for something.

I drove my old bike into the back of my pickup shortly after getting it, was a little nervous about driving it up in there, but made it up succesfully. Shut the engine off, stepped off the bike, let go, and jumped to the ground, BANG!!! I didnt put the kickstand down! It fell over, then slide into the middle of the bed and almost out of the back of the truck, I kinda caught it before it hit the ground.

I havent had a motorcycle in the truck since.

Same guy I know that "forgets to put his feet down" was taking his bike off the back of a truck by himself....VERY steep incline....forgot that he didn't have anything under the ramp but air when he tried to slow it down on the ramp and this time remembered to put his feet down....the bike landed on the ground on it's side after about a 2 foot drop off the ramp
