Comming home (Hollywood) from Leonardtown last night about 8:15, saw someone lay their bike down along side the road...............
Looked like they stopped, forgot to put the kickstand down, and climbed off the bike. 2 Matching blue and white rice rockets
I've never laid mine down, but I have stalled the engine by forgetting to put the kickstand up. It's interlocked to the kill switch. If it's down and you put it in gear, it just goes dead. Not quite as embarrassing as lying it down.
Twasn't me.. ALmost did today though.
Trapp Rd, guy/gal lives on the corner just past Caroll's decided it was a good idea to mow his yard today and blow ALL the grass into the road.. You can't see the exit of the corner until you are in it.
Nice surprise on the way home for lunch. Luckily I was on a leisurly cruise, pulled the bike up out of the turn and found a clean track to get through.
Hubby was heading to work a couple weeks ago and came up on a 4 way stop. From the left came a dude on a decked out super-sized Harley. The dude stopped at the stop sign and promptly fell over. Hubby jumped out of the truck and ran to see if he was okay... he sheepishly admitted to having forgotten to put his feet down upon stopping...
How on earth can you just forget to put out your feet?

Same guy I know that "forgets to put his feet down" was taking his bike off the back of a truck by himself....VERY steep incline....forgot that he didn't have anything under the ramp but air when he tried to slow it down on the ramp and this time remembered to put his feet down....the bike landed on the ground on it's side after about a 2 foot drop off the ramp
GUH!
I laughed really hard after he told me what happened and to this day he has not lived it down
I just bet!
R leave at zero-dark-thirty tomorrow morning for Myrtle Beach.
