We lost our power for over three hour last night. Starting at 8:30pm to about 12:30pm? We don't even now what caused it.

My house is off of Chancellors Run Road - just about two blocks from the FOP Lodge. We lost power during the same timeframe. We didn't have a backup heat system, but our Amish-built house stayed fairly warm. We were at 62 degrees at 1:30, an hour after the power came back on (didn't get out of bed to turn it back on until then) - the thermostat is set on 68 normally.

I'm sure it was a wind issue - we had a pretty powerful wind gust just before it went out...

Back in business now, though!

Maybe it had something to do with not paying the power bill after the 3rd notice.

What did you do for heat?

Ever slept with a pregnant woman before? They have an internal thermostat that keeps their body and all objects within 3 feet at 100 degrees! (Plus they were celebrating Tara's 28th B'day)

if you will
We lost power for 70 minutes (6:40 pm to 7:50 pm) in White Plains. Yes, it was wind. Tree knocked down some power lines. When I got home at 7:20 pm, I could hear the chain saws going. I was in the process of building a fire, with my silly miner-style headlight on, when the power came back on. :nerd:
