If you will go as far as Leonardtown, get them from the pub where 4 star use to be. Be sure to get some of the old bay wings!!!!!!!!!!:howdy:

If that chicken shack place is still open in the old McDonalds on Great Mills (next to Big Lots), they have very good wings.

I bowl overhand
Buffalo WIngs and Beer in Leanardtown.. They ROCK!!

Get them as hot or as mild as you want, as well as about 10 or 12 other flavors..

BIG meaty wings, and the best Hot Wings I've had in a long time..

C0ck of the walk.. just perfect.

They sound expensive, but the wings are HUGE!

A post to sink my teeth into

First the fast food places are not worth considering.

Here is my review...

Chicken N Koop had pretty good wings. Lots of heat if you like it, however they are now out of business. They were related to Cluck U in someway.

The Old Towne pub wings I have tried. I don't care for them. They are fried with no sauce or breading. Sauce comes on the side and the they use the old bay stuff....nasty.

BWB in Ltwon i have had on two occasions. They are prepared similiar as Old Town, fried with no batter or sauce.

I always look for wings that are coated and fried with sauce. I prefer a tomato style base with spicy/tangy falvor.

Ruby Tuesday has pretty decent wings.

Since I dont have a fryer I buy plain wings frozen. Defrost them and place them in an aluminum pan. Try to get as much water out of them as you can. Place them on the grill. Let most of the water run out of them and then dump the water out. Dump in your favorite sauce, cover and put on the grill on very low heat. Let cook for at least 2-3 hrs. Sometime check the consistency of the sauce. Eventually all the sauce will start to get sticky and that is when it's time to eat. Sticky and fall off the bone wings.

Again i liked the fired version better but this satisfies me.....

Just noticed on the front page that the VFW on 235 has wings on Thursday. Will grab a few different flavors and let you know how they fare.

For the record, I don't like 'em breaded- and if they're boneless than they aren't hot wings (buffalo wild wings, you ain't fooling no one).
