I heard Tim Russert ask the head of NASA this past Sunday about if it wasn't time for the US to give up on the International Space Station and just turn the whole thing over to the Russians. So I guess the "shouldn't we just give up" view for Democrats isn't limited to just Iraq and the war on terror.
