Why does MD have a death sentence?

I'm against the death penalty for one simple reason. I feel our criminal justice system is too imperfect to hand out death as a punishment. Too many people have walked off death row after additional evidence was found proving their innocence.

In my opinion, killing an innocent person is murder. It doesn't matter what legal definitions you have in place, how many precautions you take, or how sure you are of their guilt. When you participate in an innocent persons death, you are a murderer.

I'm not willing to excuse societies participation in the deaths of innocent people simple because they make a few laws saying its alright. When someone is dead, its way to late to say your sorry for making a mistake.

This is true thats why I stated the if it is clear cut n dry case with plenty of witness's.. HANG UM.
And when they confess like in bragging about it KEN has the right idea.
Fact is the justice system is a business and they don't care if you are guilty or not.
We all know lawyers are lying scum.What is the prosecuter..A lawyer and the Judge an ex lawyer. Do you think they give a crap if a man is innocent or not.
The US has more people in prison than any other country.
And alot of them are innocent do to bad lawyers.
If we know the guilty can go free cause he has a slick lawyer.
Then innocent can and are put there cause the state has a slick lawyer.
85% of people in prison are there on drug related charges,
Dealing or suporting a habit or not being of sound mind cause of drug addiction's
Yet when the US declared war on drug's What a joke.
We was at peace time with nothing but war games going on.
With the worlds most powerfull armed forces at the presidents desposal.
He as in Regan tell the people we don't have the man power to stop drugs and creates drug free zones.
Just the drugs used in DC in a month can fill a small warehouse.
Now think every major city and sub
Now do you really think drugs are getting smuggled here in peoples butts and little planes and small boats.
It comes in big cargo planes and cargo ships by the tons.
But no one has thought to use the Navy or the Air Force?
Big business prisons and the justice system. Why should they how can they grow with out drugs. And where will all these new Lawyers work?
Ever wonder how these little thrid world countries get our US guns ,tanks and Jeeps. How do they pay for that . This stuff is big bucks.
Could it be drugs?Could it be that Uncle Sam is Dealer McDope
creating business that keep the wheels of Justice moving?
