Why in Hell were schools opened today

I had co workers that were sitting on rte 4 for hours and eventually turned around and went home :shrug: Husbands commute to Fall's Church took as long as mine... IT WAS BAD out !!

You still have to use caution.
A truck and 4-wheel drive are great to get going in the snow but don't help at all when you want to stop on ice. You end up moving faster and it's even harder to stop your vehicle.

I agree. I drive a Silverado 2500 HD (diesel) which we all know is the real king of trucks (;-)) I was sliding all over the place. My truck has so much low end torque that I HAD to put it in 4WD just to get moving from the stoplights. It helped me none trying to slow down. The weight of the truck actually made it worse.
