Sort of. I can drive one and actually prefer that when I don't have to drive in traffic. My last car was a stick and I put around 150k miles on it. My current one has a clutchless manual shift (AutoStick) option. You want me to shift your stick?

Rackm was right Bridge was closed in both directions this morning... "Bomb threat" I had family in the back up.

I didn't leave Tyson's Corner until 4:30 this afternoon. There was a 5+ mile backup to the WW Bridge WITHOUT a suspicious package in the water.

I moved to Northern Virginia as a youngster in 1972. My earliest recollection of the beltway between Tysons Corner and the WW is that it was “under construction”.

Now we are 34 years later and it’s still “under construction”. I don’t recall any period in between 1972 and 2006 in which that section was “not under construction”.
