My V Star 1300 Tourer comes with the tall windshield that I look through on most occasions. In the rain I can just look over it if I sit taller in the saddle and don't slouch.
Initially I had a lot of buffeting but then I installed the HD chrome lowers similar to these from J & P Cycle. Now hardly any buffeting at all.
On a different forum, people were talking about lowers for the Strat and several recommended Buck's Lowers.
