Wife 2015 Cherokee was the same way. Lasted an extra year that way. When it did finally go, Safelite came to the house and did it, including the calibration of the sensors. Jeep doesnt offer the original "easter egg" windshield, but the replacement did have an updated version.

Wife hopes it delays the need to get a new windshield until she's ready to sell it or trade it in......

Royal Glass did mine, did a good job. Does she have a smart windshield? One with cameras etc with the lane keeping assist stuff needs to be calibrated and can get costly.

Isn't there a Safelite up in Prince Frederick?

Yes there is, just had my windshield replaced on my 2019 Highlander there last week. Excellent service was out of there in 45-50 minutes was told it could take 2-3 hours because they would have calibrate the thingie in the window. Use to always use A&M Glass in Hughesville and had excellent service from them, but they don't have a guy to calibrate the thingie. lol

I called and left two messages through their website in the last week, no response. Ended up going to safelite even though I would have much rather worked with a local business.

I had a good experience with Safelite...They did it in my driveway. I am in Southern Calvert.
