You're a LOON :)
 Okay--the subject was not the best in the world, but I do see the difference and it helps understand depth of field.

Okay I tried to do this yesterday while at Ann Marie Gardens. I don't really see a difference. Did I do something wrong? C & C WELCOME!!
I see quite a difference in these, the last one looks very washed out, while the first one looks much "fuller".

Great work!

Chipper, I'm seeing all three.
Try a wider range of f/ stops. f/2 up to f/22.
Its hard to tell between f/2 and f/8.
Also try to get the closest subject in the exact center so you're not focusing on the background.

I see them now :) But Honestly I don't see much difference between them. Reminds me of the first set I took and posted here

I think with the shorter range of aperture you may have to get closer to your subject. May be able to see a little more with bigger pictures too.

okay, I will try again.

JEB, I am only using a P&S Olympus so this is the extent of my range. I can tell a difference, not as prominent as Jameo's but there is a little difference. Let's see what happens with the next set.

are you going to be posting another WIP for this weekend? If so, can you post tomorrow?? :huggy: I want to make sure to get the task

Everyone could do the last one. The task was "The task for this weekend will be to get a picture of a stationary subject of your choice in the foreground, and a pleasing background. (Try to get a subject that is a about 10-15 feet away from you with a back ground even further away.)"

THe rest of it was for people that had Apeture Pri. mode.

I will always try to make it some people without Manual type modes can still do part of the task.

Yeah, I can try to come up with something by tomorrow for this weekend.

Tomorrow is OCT 31 which means Halloween night ..

Want us to try something like this picture below? Simple rules like "at least one streak of color light with a still subject .. "
Or how about no flash but use time exposure while taking picture of kids or pumpkin or scary stuff at night blah blah

I am still learning how to mess with time exposure stuff on my DSLR.
