I took a picture last weekend of the bar I designed and built. This weekend I had the headache from hell and spent most of my time incapacitated.

The only shooting i did this weekend was at deer.....and not with the camera.

Thanks Geek and Ocean!!!---I nearly fell overboard to get that shot--I think its worth it though---wouldn't have been so worth it if I'd have drowned the camera though!!!

I got a nice 7 point. 8 point frame but missing a brow tine. Dressed out at 160lbs.

Thank you. Yes, it's barn board. I got the family to help me tear down a barn and I used the beams in the ceiling the dinning room, poles and beams on the overlook in the family room and boards on the bar. The top is made from a big willow oak tree that was felled in one of our hurricanes passing through that I stained with black to give it the old wood look. I even did some stonework on the other side. I built it in two days while my husband was on travel. I don't like his opinions when I build so I try and do it when he isn't around. I love air nailers, they make building fast and fun. I did all the finish work in my farmhouse and designed and built all the kitchen cabinets, medicine cabinets, vanities, thresholds, most of the trim and a bunch of other stuff with wood from my farm that I cut down and took to the Amish to be cut into lumber I'm still working on stuff

I learned a valuable lesson this weekend. When taking pictures, make sure you have fresh batteries, and go alone because ]
The first three are pretty dark. If anyone has any suggestions for how to brighten the picture without washing out the colors, I'd love to hear them. Thanks!
