He might want to try the V8 soups. The broccoli is really great. There are others to choose. Most are pureed.

About a week and a half ago my husband broke his jaw on both sides in a freak church league slow pitch softball accident . It's been the week from hell. Long story short he's wired for 5wks and had a plate and 4 screws put in. So far I've been pureeing everything we eat and he's liking it. Still, I see weight loss happening although it is minor so far. I'm wanting to add calories and protein to his "meals". Is there something I can buy to add large amounts? I know GNC has the protein shake mix I can get but if anyone has any suggestions for meals, care, supplements etc I'd love it.

I would find him a good protein shake from GNC. Take that at least once a day with other food he may be eating...

Same thing happened to my son a few years ago but with baseball. Scrambled eggs they can suck through their teeth. But buy the magic bullet blender and mix everything in there. Babyfood too!
