I thought everything was Clinton's fault. Has Tuesday changed that, too?
I didn't like Clinton ever - not even before the New Hampshire primary in '92. I've a long history of thinking he was a slimy SOB.
But I don't recall anyone claiming events were "Clinton's fault", at least, not until after he left office. And those would be at least two major events which in all fairness, WAS his fault - the continuation of bin Laden being at large, and the brief recession Bush inherited at the beginning of his term.
Now, if you like, we could re-hash about a dozen or more scandals he evaded while in office - but no one said they were "his fault".
Blaming Bush however, has almost reached urban legend status. I've heard of everything - because of his stance on global warming, he alone is to blame for every hurricane in the world. Because he's vengeful and wants Muslims everywhere to DIE, he delayed information on the tsunami and was against implementing a South Pacific early warning system, thus ensuring the deaths of Muslims. He's of course to blame for 9/11. He's to blame for Michael J FOx's illness, Christopher Reeve's DEATH, and the deaths of every AIDs sufferer. He's to blame for all the illegal immigration past and present. Every disenfranchised voter, real or imagined, is his fault. He's the reason the Redskins have been losing football games.
If I think about it long enough, he's to blame for me getting to work late this morning, but I have to think about it first. I do know he was to blame for my mom not being able to find a parking space a couple weeks ago. At least, that's what she said.
