In maryland rape is defined as forced vaginal intercourse meaning anal sex isnt rape... men can not be raped in maryland either
I'm having to refrain myself from calling you stupid. First of all, this crime didn't happen in Maryland, and not every state and country shares the same statute as Maryland. That being said, the term "rape" is a general term used to describe a multitude of sexual assaults. In my previous post, I referred to RAINN's general definition of the word rape as it is used in society, which includes several acts that are not technically rape in every state, but are violent sexual acts that are punishable by time in prison.

The dictionary definition of the term rape is as follows:
1. The crime of forcing another person to submit to sex acts, especially sexual intercourse.
2. The act of seizing and carrying off by force; abduction.
3. Abusive or improper treatment; violation: a rape of justice.

So your response to Kain's statement is irrelevant. Thanks for looking up the statute in Maryland though. :yay:

Yes, it is the mindset, because there is always a story. Were they drunk? High? Into strange fetishes? What events lead up to this? I’m interrogating by nature, which comes from 17 years in law enforcement.

I find it highly unlikely that the 2 women just grabbed the guy, held him down and did this, but hey, I'm not always right.
Ahhhh.... The old "He musta done something to deserve it" philosophy. It is my personal opinion that no victim deserves to be raped or die. Long story short, what led up to it is irrelevant. I'm not in the business of concerning myself with a criminal's excuse.

That's just me and unfortunately for you.... I am always right.

I wouldn't call him stupid yet. When I attended the Federal Law enforcement center in Glynco Ga. several years ago that was in fact the definiton.

Man was blessed with two heads. The trick was he was only given enough blood to run one at a time.

After it is over and the blood returns to the head on are shoulders we often think we should've done it. Then I short time later we want to know if you want to do it again.

The article says he was sleeping on the couch. He awoke to find his organ in her mouth. I'm pretty sure all the guys in the room have experienced this.

That's very exciting, however as I stated before, this crime didn't happen in Maryland, nor did it happen in Georgia, so those states' laws on sexual assaults are a moot point. It happened in Norway....did you attend a seminar there too?

And just as a little "fyi" for the non-reader, I wasn't talking about the legal definition of rape, I was referring to (a) RAINN's definition of rape in the terms that society understands, and (b) the dictionary definition. There's a difference between government and society. My point was that Spoiled's comment on Kain's post was irrelevent. As was yours in response to mine.

I believe I said it was a Federal training center. Not a State

Rape is not a federal crime, it's a state crime. The statute varies state to state. Regardless, like I said, it's a moot point, the crime occurred in Norway.
