A fire at an east Houston gas station left one woman with first- and second-degree burns overnight Monday and left police saying the incident was not an accident.
Investigators said a woman drove to a Shell gas station shortly before midnight Monday to fill her tank. However, once the tank was full and gas began overflowing, police said, the woman set the car on fire.
A passenger in the car saw what happened and grabbed the wheel, taking the burning car away from the pumps. Officials said the passenger was able to escape the car without any burns. The driver received first- and second-degree burns to her hands and legs.
Police said the woman might have some emotional problems. Ya think....
