Has anyone got any gouge, good or bad, about the PF Summers development Woods at Myrtle Point? We are moving into the area and are considering building there.

Not really! We looked at buying a pre-existing home in our price range and found sellers couldn't deal much. They bought their houses at the peak of the market and need to recoup. Builders, however, are ready to DEAL!

Good school district if you have kids and beautiful area. The builder is good, from what I've heard.

Hubby and I briefly thought about it, but decided it was too much $. The builder is a good guy and all of their reps are cool. Beautiful houses!!

FYI, I believe there is a lot or 2 in Academy Hills in Leonardtown. Same builder, but smaller lots. The house prices are pocket friendlier, too.

You might want to check back - they added new home styles and reduced their prices at Myrtle Point recently.

The steep slopes and very soft soils in that area make any house built on one of those terraced lots extremely risky. Cracked foundatins, water leakage, maybe even a slide down the slope are possibilities. And good luck with landscaping.

My rents have a place on the water past the Woods at Myrtle Point. It's really a nice and quiet neighborhood. I think they want to sell it though.
