I raided pre bc and bc, and it was fun, but I've not been in a raiding guild for wrath, mostly because people take the game way too seriously and take the fun out of it.

Exactly! I loved when our server was new, everyone was pretty chill and you had a few trolls but not really a big deal. Now I literally have to turn off trade on a regular basis. Its like 90% of people are trolls and a small minority are normal. Its freaking obnoxious. I dont know if we just have more than our share of jackasses because we have Premonition on our server or what, but its definitely a turn off when I feel like playing.

I just started playing recently, I'm on Malfurion.
Trade chat is kinda like walking through Walmart, you can't help but feel better about yourself as you look around.

I'm with the Horde, on the Malygos server. There's a lot of players from the mid-west on there. I've got an 80 lvl tauren warrior, 80 orc death knight, and a troll rogue approaching 30. I've been playing since January, I love it.

(hehe, actually I made a lvl one on a RP server when my PvE server was down once and I was totally disappointed, there was no crazy RP at all just normal boring trade chat. bleh.)

2) The RP tag on the server is pretty much just that. A tag. Unless you go to goldshire, but that was to be avoided when I played on Medivh too.

3) Numbered lists are the best!

4) The idea here isnt just to raid in game, although we will clear cata content. It's to actually get to know the people you raid with IRL. We're just trying out the novel idea of venturing out into the big blue room once in a while with people we hang out with online.

If nothing else it'd be cool to actually know some of the folks standing in line at gamestop on Dec 6 at 11:59. It's gonna be cold, might as well hang out with people you know.

Honestly, when you put it that way it doesnt sound too bad. I dont really have alot of time to play and my server is all about raiding and end game. Basically if you are a casual player its kind of boring as far as playing with other people. Im getting Cata or at least I was, but I downloaded that huge patch and now everytime I try to connect it gives me some Nvidia driver 4 error... I have no idea what thats about.

Until Dec. 7 hits, I've been farming nodes, getting my professions up, and doing pick-up groups to max out justice points. It's a good time to get everything caught up before everyone starts scrambling toward level 85. I went the download route so everything should be good to go after midnight Dec. 7.

I have a lvl 90 Petian warrior with a double D 80 Druish princess on the Giberish server. For raiding I use a lvl 90 HelenThomasian bridge troll with cyber jowls.
