I wonder what kind of meat slurry runs through those pipelines pictured in the story.

What pisses me off is that JBS, a Brazilian owned company, is the #2 food processor in the USA and Smithfield Foods, a Chinese owned company, is the #5 food processor in the USA. Talk about food security. Why the hell did we allow this to happen?!

I remember thinking that back a bunch of years ago when there was a huge run on Chinese buying everything in sight in the US; businesses, land... seemed like China was poised to be a 51% owner of the USA.

Smithfield was was acquired by a Hong Kong based investment group. You know..Hong Kong..the once-independent former Brit protectorate that the mainland communists are trying to completely take over, politically. So, Chinese in some odd sense, I guess... Wait until the Chinese forcibly re-unite with Taiwan...and independent democratic country that is one of the worlds largest producers of high-end semiconductors and related products... It's going to happen soon.

We had better pull our collective head out of our azz concerning cybersecurity or we will be toast sooner rather than later. I am talking to you Biden and the legislative branch. Throw a bunch of money at it NOW before we wind up back in the 18th century.

We should probably just sell it to them while we can make a profit.

I don't know much about cybersecurity or the meat business, but I look into the future and see rising meat prices.

I am no Carnac the magnificent, but I believe we can all see this coming from this, and other things.
Inflation on the way --------full steam ahead.
