Sorry to hear of your lost, baileydog, and to everyone else that's lost a pet. There are no words to comfort, time heals the pain. I recently had to put a pet to sleep. Not an easy thing for anyone to do.

I agree with SkinkTyree, having ones pet pass on their own peacefully at home is the best. I sure would rather it happened that way. Part of me knows I did the right thing, the other part feels guilt in which I will never get over.
