If my wife cheated on me with a woman, I would feel left out. If she cheated on me with a guy I'd be offended.

Seriously, although the above was serious as well, if your spouse cheats with a same-sex, it's less personal. You can figure they're gay/lesbian and it's no knock on you. When it's opposite sex, NOW it's personal.

Either way, if it is actually cheating...you have no knowledge of it until after...then it is a betrayal of trust.
It would be easier to get over her cheating with a woman though and let's be honest...the better looking the woman, the easier it would be to get over

Also, would you be more lenient towards a gay person of your gender flirting with your SO, even if it were just in a joking manner because he/she's apparently gay? Like, say the gay (male, for example) was up grinding on your SO (female, example), do you tell that person to back off the same as you would to a straight person?

Having experienced both scenarios, I have to say it was a lot easier to deal with in cheating with a woman. There was no sense of my ego being attacked, since it was in an area in which I couldn't even enter into any type of competition.


My divorce was due to irreconcilable similarities
