Would you sue your parents for a fall at their house?

I didn't read the link, but I do remember a story from quite a few years ago, where a child got lead poisoning from his parents home, and being family the home owners insurance refused to cover the child. If he was a stranger no problem, but being of the family they wouldn't budge. The parents hired their child a lawyer to sue them for damages.

Yeah, but it will still make their rates go up. I wouldn't do it.

How's this sound: "Hey Mom, your rates are going to go up $100/year for five years if I win. I'll take you on a cruise, as well as give you $5K."
