What's strange is that Democrat strength has, over the last several decades, gone from scattered across the state - to concentrated in the north and other urban areas (Virginia Beach and Richmond).

Personally I don't consider Northern Virginia a legitimate part of the state - it's pretty much DC/Maryland.

It really seems as though the only policies that Dems care about is murdering babies and mutilating kids. They obviously don't care about crime, the economy, foreign affairs or anything that touches them every day. It is pathetic to me that the only thing you currently need to say while running for office is I support abortion.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not against abortion, but for that to be the ONLY message.......

Republicans need to get out of people's personal lives. That's their biggest downfall - they think government should be regulating private behavior that isn't any of their business.

The whole Virginia One-issue Dem Voting Block is a window to November 2024. The dems know that the only drum they need to beat on is abortion. The country is screwed. I hear the chants of "We are doing this for our daughters and granddaughters!" In their shortsighted minds they can't fathom that our country will be a debt ridden, crime infested, illegal alien cesspool with unfettered abortion access. The Republicans need to just drop the abortion fight since the people have essentially spoken. Make abortion a non issue and fight the issues that are going to be the downfall of this country.

When Donald Trump was on Meet The Press with Kristen Welker, she kept trying over and over again to pin him down on his stance on abortion. What term limit did he believe. Over and over again, worded every which way he could, he agreed to let both sides find common ground and to move on, which I thought was a pretty good answer. It's obvious most people agree on abortion, so yes, republican candidates need to agree to a term limit and allow for exceptions.

When will people realize Trump is a toxic loser and the majority of people are sick of him.

Most of the candidates he endorsed lost. Badly.

He lost the house, senate, his 2nd term and Rep's keep getting trounced when they align with him.

It's really not that hard to figure out.

Run a pre 2016 Republican who is sane and reasonable , doesn't deny the 2020 election and says
" I love Trump but he's got too much baggage". We have to move on". and the 2024 election is theirs.

But they are too hard headed to do it.
