Yeah, I saw that, you would have thought they would have put that dog elsewhere or would have marked the cage or something so such a careless mistake could not be made. RIP little doggie!

If the dog was quarantined, can I assume that the dog was not vaccinated or the owners could not show proof that the dog was vaccinated?

The quarantine was to see if it developed rabies.

I know that but doesn't the rabies vaccine prove that it won't develop rabies? Most of the Animal Control reports I've read through work have the dog quarantined at home if it's shown that the dog was vaccinated.

My dog was bite by my neighbor's dog. We both had proof of vaccines and both our dogs were still quarantined (at home) for 10 days.
