XM/Sirius merger

I was told the merger takes effect later this summer and was told I would not have to upgade anything. Will they still offer the XM 90s station and XM country music stations? Also, does that mean I'll get SPEED and NASCAR radio? :jet:

There's supposed to be a 50 channels for 6.99 option. I only listen to about 10 channels, so that would be plenty for me.

I have all my favorite channels programmed on the radio. But, I usually only listen to the two country stations (XM11&16) and the 90s music station (XM9). :larry:

I listen to Robin Meade on CNN HLN and FOX News from time to time. Robin's better if you're watching her though. :hot:

The G5 came with XM built in. And a port for my MP3 player. And it has a CD Player. :starcat:

Husband and I both have lifetime subscriptions to sirius. I hope those are going to be honored as well. I did not see anything about that in the FAQs.

It's was part of the original plan that the XM and Sirrius radios had to be compatible -- kinda like someone knew this day would eventually come :wink-wink:

The only good channels on XM are the talk channels, Fox News Talk, America Right, and the simulcast of FNS and CNBC. The only good music channel is XM-6.

Looks like you'll need a "Best of Sirius" subscription for NASCAR. Five country stations and 90s is still there.
