Driving on Route 4 going towards St. Mary's and getting close to the bridge... and here comes the A$$munch that rides in the right turn off lane all the way up to the bridge and cuts over into the left lane in front of everyone at the point where the self-absorbed jerk should have turned off. Anyone else get pi$$ed over that kind of stunt? Or, are any of you that self-absorbed jerk???
I feel better now. Thank you forum for letting me vent.

I do it all the time because there never fails to be the driver who leaves 12 car lengths between he or she and the car in front where I can just sliiiiiiiide right in. :yay: TYVM :bubble:

I love it when they speed up trying to pass and there's a cop behind the sign. :lmao:

That is no problem and that makes sense, but there was NO room for that jerk.

Had that done to me a dozen times. You get used to it and eventually expect it. Sometimes they even surprise me by cutting in front of me at the last second and I really have to slam brakes. And giving them a sign of affection (the finger) doesn't help.

Actually, it is a problem. When people race down the right lane heading towards that bridge, they’re usually traveling at a speed far greater than the folks in the left lane (the folks who have already merged). As a result, the guys who cut in at the last minute usually have to hit their brakes hard in order to slow back down to the flow of the slower cars that they just merged with. That causes all the cars behind him to also hit their brakes. The end result is a log-jam at the ingress of the bridge resulting from everyone being on the brakes. Albeit, some of those log jams are caused by cars and trucks not being able to maintain speed once they head up the hill, but that’s easier to anticipate and prepare for than the guy who cuts in at the last minute then instantly hits his brakes.

Would THIS face lie?
I don't commute that way but it pizzes me off when people do it...I feel that they are telling everyone in line that they are better than they are and they don't have to wait like everyone else does...What gives you the right to go in the right shoulder up to get ahead of everyone else? Why can't you wait in line like everybody does...I laugh every time a cop stops them... :jameo:

Dont you know that what they have to do and where they have to go is more important and anything you could have to do? :sarcasm:

I will never understand why people think haulin Azz to get in front of someone will make them get anywhere faster. OH BOY they will be in front of you at the light on 235! :bigwhoop:

That’s how I’ve always felt about it. Cutting in line at the store would not be tolerated yet some folks think it’s OK on the road. To me, it’s both the same - rude and ignorant in either case.

In My Opinion
That lane cutting thing is really ignorant, but to be honest the ones I really like the most are the ones that like to merge onto the highway into traffic that is moving at 70+,,, at the speed of 40 mph.

come on freaks, what is it about you that causes you to hop on the highway at 40 miles an hour causing everyone to slam breaks and change lanes to avoid hitting you?
Then, after everyone recovers from your idiocy, you have the nerve to floor it and take off leaving everyone else behind to change their shorts.

and you do this with a half mile of merge lane left that you could have used to speed up in before merging.

Just like at the Walmart in PF. A merge lane is available and people come to a complete stop and then pull out, cross both lanes so they can do a u-turn at the light. You should see the brake lights.......If they would just use the merge lane to get up to speed, all would be good.

Lane Crashers

Maybe some of those soft posts that bend when you hit them could be put up about halfway down the lane so that once they commit they have no choice but to turn right. I hate the people that think they should have the right of way. I don't have a problem with someone that needs to get in but these people ride out the lane to get a few cars ahead. :war:
