Yesterday while trick or treating

So my daughter was trick or treating yesterday in Leonardtown and a cop car approached stating if you are in 9th grade you are "TOO OLD" to trick or treat and there is 25 dollar fine. I saw the cop car driving around. Any one else have this experience?

That's why you should get the little boxes of raisins to reward the large people begging on your door step

That's dumb. I dress up when I take my son out.

I love the older kids, their costumes have so much more creativeness! These two guys come up to me last night and I thought they were hookers and then they said trick or treat and I about fell out of my chair! I had no idea they were guys! :lmao: The older kids crack me up, I say if they still want candy at that age let them have it! My son is 16 and he went out with his friends and they had a blast! Why do they have to stop being kids? I think it's fun!

WDF. So worth the wait.
As long as they are dressed in costume, I say it's all good. But, I've had way to many teenagers show up "trick or treating" in jeans and a t-shirt.
At my house this year, if you didn't have a costume on you got a High School Musical #2pencil.

I give candy to anyone that comes to my door. I just thought it was too strange maybe they were pulling a prank.

Going back to the stars
someone said there was a public service announcement about it on 102.9. I would like to know how they expect to enforce it since most kids do not get picture id's until they are old enough to drive. I went around the Westbury homes and there were quite a few older kids there but no cops around.

Me, too. :lmao: I always make sure that the surly, non-costumed 15 year olds see me fork over big handfuls to the little kids, and then they get ONE mini-tootsie roll.

My wife simply tells them to get off our porch and go find a costume. It's a wonder that we've not been egged more often.

We buy the individually wrapped Sunkist (I think that's the brand) prunes for the older/non-dressed up kids...they must love it because it doesn't stop them from coming the next year, LOL!
