Jus Chillin...
Nope! Not my idea of a vacation:

1) Clean/Pack up the house on wheels to get ready to go.
2) Arrive, unpack everything, set everything up while tripping over everybody else that is running back and forth having a good time.
3) Oh... soon time to leave? Let me start cleaning everything up and packing everything back in again while tripping over everybody else that is running back and forth having a good time while I get things ready to go.
4) Back home from "vacation"... let me unpack everything and clean it all up before I have to go back to work tomorrow. At least I won't be tripping over everybody else cause they are exhausted from all those good times and are back in their perspective rooms in the house.

Not even close to my idea of a relaxing time I don't care how nice the trailer looks.

Who the hell did you go with or watch

:lmao:

We are there, set up, relaxing, beer in hand within 30 minutes. And it takes us about an hour to clean up to leave. No tripping, being exhausted, nothing of that nature

And we spend about an hour total loading before a trip (clothes, food, beer, etc) and getting everything back out at home (food and dirty clothes)...

Guess the phrase, to each their own comes in to play here :buddies:

That was my least fav. part. Unless of course you have stuff that strictly stays in the camper (pots, pans etc).

We do, we have toys, shoes/slippers/flip-flops, sweatshirts, coats, bathroom stuff, etc... that stays in, so all we pack is clothes and food. Then when we get home, un-pack clothes and whatever leftover food.

When we get to where we can afford one, that's what I want as well. Definitely much easier.

We got lucky. When we got our camper, we already had 'old' pots and pans in the attic. So we started with those.... since then, we have upgraded our house pots and pans, so the old house ones went to the camper since they were nicer... and we've bought 2-3 different ones for the camper that are more useful for camper cooking. But it saves A TON of hassle!

its much more relaxing to pull up to the hotel, make a few trips from the car to your room, unpack the suitcase, try to get the wrinkles out of things that should not be folded, then leave your car in a parking lot unprotected.
use a shower and a toilet that God knows who last put their blister ridden butt on, then climb into a bed with smegma remains from bubba and his wal-mart shopping wife the night before. Walk around on a carpet that someone spewed on and was never cleaned up.
Then, repack, shove it all back into the car, shove everyone in around whatever wont fit in the trunk, drive home, unload the car then go in and unload all the luggage.
see doctor next morning to figure out what the blisters that are now on your butt are actually from.
Sounds like a great time to me.

Or, bring the clothing out to the camper, hang what needs to be hung, put in drawers the rest of the stuff. Load up the fridge. Drive in a car that has nothing in it but people, get to the campground, push a button and the camper opens, everything is already where it needs to be, no moving stuff from the car to the room.
