Strung Out
...bastards. It's probably best if you don't know what you are missing up here in Fredneck. As beautiful as SOMD is, it is about some useless motosickle land.
The twists, the turns, the mountains, hills, valleys, little bridges, how everything changes depending on where the sun is, the sudden, breathtaking vistas. The incredible, instant temperature changes in the hollows around dusk, then a warm bath around the next bend, just amazing. Uphills, just pinned, ripping elevator rides, bottom dropping out descents, then pan out into what feels like riding on a rail at the top of heaven where everything is magically laid out before you.
If I don't live in the middle of the best riding in the solar system, I'm not sure I could appreciate anything better than this. And I do think of y'all, if only for an instant, in the midst of endless flat out #### eating grins, and what a crying shame it is for anyone on a bike to not be able to enjoy so much, so close by, the second you have a chance to ride, 24/7/365.
It is my intention to appreciate this enough for us all. I am a lucky son of a bytch.
And that's it.
