Don't feel bad. I am a Republican, soon to become an Independent, before the next election. Both sides sold us out, but Obama is over the top. I think he will do his best to spread socialism even more, other than Obamacare, over his last years as POTUS. Hopefully, we can stop further damage in the elections of 2014. I didn't vote for Obama, but I really thought he was going to be great. It is that thing your mama always told you. Don't believe everything you read and hear. But, I have faith in American patriots, and believe that we can survive this.

I don't think it was shameful to vote for Obama the first time. He truly sounded wonderful and was charismatic with his promised platform. I truly had hope for change, even though I didn't cast a vote for him. You are not responsible for the second time around. Only, dead people, welfare people, quadruple vote people, and illegal aliens voted for him the second time. It really is not funny, but we have to keep our sense of humor. God bless America.

And, don't forget that Hillary was running against him. The powers that be that get presidents elected, decided Obama was the one, and told Hillary to bow out, and she did. Not, that I want Hillary to be our next president, but 'we the people' really have no control, anymore, unless we stand up to the powers that be. JMO.

Romney and Ryan was horrible. Romney might have had a chance, had he picked a more middle of the road, semi-intelligent candidate.

Mr Obama was a flawed candidate in 2008...but there was zero chance the Rs would win in 2008...should have won in 2012...but the ticket prevented that.

Yes, he did sound wonderful! The first time I heard him speak was a few years before the primary.

I was flipping channels (I was home alone and had control of the remote!), and heard someone giving a heartfelt speech. I don't have a clue what it was, but I stopped flipping and listened for a bit. Young black politician was giving a speech, and he was so passion-filled, my first thought was that I had to find out who this guy was.

Barack Obama, senator, didn't have a very impressive record, but I figured I'd watch and see how he progressed.

Well, he didn't. Just a pretty boy with lots of pretty speeches. Nothing about his record impressed me. I was concerned at the numbers of people who were impressed with him and voted for him come primary and election time. But, most voters don't look beyond the present. I wasn't surprised at people voting him in the first term, they obviously didn't know/care about his record as a senator.

Barack Obama, president, had a dismal record, and people still voted him in a second term. Idiots.

I have a few liberal leanings too, but it's all about wat is most important.. thingd like gay marriage, abortion, political correctness.. some feel are the end all be all.. they aren't that important to me. Not important enough to be the reason I vote or don't vote for someone.

On the really important stuff I lean towards the TEA party... they have the important stuff right, which is why the rest of them make it ALL about stuff that doesn't mean anything to the country's well being.
