Hubby and I are looking to really 'step up' our backyard with a deck, stone patio, patio space under the deck, as well as some terracing and walkways, and a free-standing pergola. This is probably a multi-year project, where we start with the grading and hardscaping, and add on to it each year to acheive the final vision in 2 - 3 years.
In order to do this successfully, we are looking for a really innovative landscape design / construction team and I would love your collective recommendations.
I've searched the forums thoroughly and have seen a few recommendations for companies to do patios and decks, but would love to hear if anyone has worked with a company that had great, unique design-driven construction (as opposed to construction-driven design)!
