I've put up this website.... and I want to know your thoughts.

No... this isn't an attempt to get a free ad.... I'll be buying an ad once this website works... the idea is to get it to work....

I would change your font. Comic Sans doesn't give off a professional vibe.

I second this. Comic Sans is a graphic designer's nightmare. Try sticking to Arial or Helvetica.

The pixelation around the edges of the navigation links is bad, too. Try recreating the files and saving as PNG. PNG allows for transparency while also letting you have smoother edges.

I'd also lose the image to the right of the header. It clutters up the screen. You may want to change the main image with the rock to an image that better represents the service you're providing.

Also might want to remove the Intuit banner at the bottom:

<div id="footer" style="position:absolute; top: 856px; left: 0px; width: 900px; height: 24px; background-color: #ffffff; text-align: center"><span style="color: #000000; font-size: 12px; font-family: arial; padding-left: 8px"><a target="_blank" href="http://www.intuit.com/website-building-software/">Website Building Software & Website Design Tools&lt/a><a target="_blank" href="http://business.intuit.com"> by Intuit Small Business</a></span></div>

Agree with comments about the font. Something more professional is needed.

I understand the 'resume' section, but it reads like you are applying for a job, not professing your prowess as a business consultant. Tone down the 'I know these programs' and play up your strengths.

People looking for an accountant don't want to see 'familiar with'. They want someone who is confident, proficient and knows the law and the means to get what they want.

I agree with the font or bold look between your resume' and contact Becky . Contact looks better.
Fonts could be bigger on EITHER. Since you are not applying for a job you should list what services you provide rather than a resume'.

I would use a more dresser photo or business like photo for the website. Book keeping is somebody business your working with and I would not want a laid back person working on my books. You look too laid back very friendly photo though.

GOOD LUCK! HOPE THIS HELPS :howdy:

"....to bring all that experience to your project too!"

Drop the "too!":
It implies you might be too busy for my project.
It's a bit bubbly.
With the font you're using, it looks like "...to bring all that experience to your project tool".

Change "project" to business unless you really want just project work.

The font is going to change.... you are the first one that said anything about "too" and your're right.... thanks so much

Oh and I don't have a good picture.... getting one right now isn't a good idea... I'm getting one later in the year.
