Not sure what to call it, really but a modified version of something Vrai turned me on to a few years ago.
I sauted one LB ground beef (80/20), onion and lots of garlic and then transferred to crock pot with bottle of spicy v-8, blop of "better than boullion" (beef low sodium), Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 shredded cabbage, a can of dark red kidney beans and yesterday I used an additional can of black eyed peas. The original recipe called for a can of corn but I much prefer the kidney beans.
It was quite tasty, especially after being in the crock pot for several hours, filling and I cannot wait to have more tonight! It is also a very inexpensive meal to make.
