I meant to post this earlier. Isn't that the whole, much-touted "Domino Theory" that got us and kept us in Vietnam?"Your money is not charity," he said. "It’s an investment in the global security and democracy that we handle in the most responsible way."
Zelenskyy said that U.S. support is crucial not only for Ukraine's victory but also to show Russia and China that "no one can succeed in breaking national borders" or committing atrocities. And he made a direct appeal for more U.S. military aid.
"Ukraine never asked that American soldiers fight on our land instead of us," said Zelenskyy. "I assure you that Ukrainian soldiers can perfectly operate American tanks and planes themselves."

“Give us nuclear Wessels!”
Since when? Why don’t you look into it and post back. I was answering OP’s question directly.
- Alaska was $140M (in today's adjusted dollars) and 2.5 larger than Ukraine.
- So far we paid $100B in U.S. Foreign Aid for Ukraine.
- The average price of land in Ukraine is $121,440/sq mile, so we already paid 3.5x that or $434,782/sq mile for the country.
- Their debt to us is 3.5x the value of their entire country. And Zelenskyy was telling congress that we haven't given enough?
- Another way to look at it is the average income per capita is about $4,835.60, and we've given them $2,286/person.
