I don't love the taste of whole wheat, that's why I'm such a big fan of Dreamfield's. I've finally grown used to brown rice but I just can't quite seem to get used to the brown pasts.
I'm with Vince on the spaghetti squash. It's a real food, not some bizarre chemistry experiment, and it tastes good. You can use it instead of pasta in most dishes. Zucchini is another good substitute.

Got a spagetti squash in the frig. I would do up a pizza with it tonight, but it takes an hour in the oven. Cook it tonight and pizza tomorrow night.

If you soaked them extra long or boiled them for double the time, would that help any on the rubbery texture? :shrug:

I was reading somewhere that the miracle noodles have to be rinsed really, really well prior to cooking and that takes care of the smell and texture issues. I have a maca nd cheese recipe thats been sitting on my comp forever I wanted to try with theses..but rubbery streehooker doesnt sound very appealing..even with cheese :/
