It's like an ipod.
Bug has a Sansa and is very happy with it. Not familiar with the Zune, other than I think the Sansa was less expensive.

I have one. I like it. I haven't had an IPOD or anything similar to compare it to though.

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna' get one, just wanted to get some opinions. The only drawback I can see right now is that there is only one docking station available (that I've seen).
Doesn't each brand have their own?

I guess :shrug: I see all kinds of docking stations, all over the place, for ipod.

Yeah, I've seen alot of different docking stations that works with ipods, but not Zune. I honestly do not have a docking station, I only use my zune while traveling or working out.
I really enjoy mine! 
For iPod yes. The rest, not so much.

Wife and son have 'em and like them. Son bought a decent set of headphones, BS Gal has a docking station. From what little I've messed with them I like them. I have a Sony and like it.
mAlice - I have the 120 and it syncs wirelessly, has easy to use functions and I love the way it stores and displays music. It loaded all of my music quick and efficiently. I have a docking station but I don't seem to use it too terribly often as the battery seems to last quite a while.
Look into the leather cover by another brand (can't recall who) but it clips easily onto anything, making it a real joy.
I have other earphones, so I can't tell you what I think of those included.

The earphones that come with the Zune are horrible. Put them directly into the trash can and buy some decent ones. I like my Zune.

I Love mine, and use it almost everyday, I have the original 30G Zune for years and no problem. I say get it!!

But now that he has the iPod 120 he loves it... I think the big thing is there are a ton more accessories for the iPod then what there is for the Zune. Most any retailer has accessories for the iPod, not for the Zune... 95% of what he wanted for the Zune we had to order online...If it was me (and I am a Microsoft weenie at work) I would buy the iPod just for the above... I have messed with them both and the Zune is a very nice product very comparable to the iPod.

We have 3 of them here. Yes the headphones are junk but all of the brands headphones are lacking. I have had the iPod 30 and they stunk too. My wife has a sansa view I replaced her headphones as well.
Our headphones of choice are the Shure SE530 earbuds. They are pricey but are worth it. In fact you can just get a Sansa Clip and it sounds fantastic with the Shure earbuds. Only reason I have a zune is for video and photo capabilities otherwise for music, the sansa players are great.
